A few News Head-lines from DCE

• Prof. J.C. Bhatia retired on 1 June. Now Dr. V. P. Mishra is new Head of the Deptt. of Maths Department Compouter Center.

• 1st year's and 2nd year's classes will be held in New Campus.

• Prof. A.K. Sinha, Sh. M. Kulkarni and P.R. Chadda are leaving the college and joining other places. (Not confirmed completely)

• Prof. A. K. Saluja , Head T & P , implements the idea of the Dream Company. Now Every person will be allowed to sit in his/her dream company, after getting first job. Some other regulations also in Training and Placement Department.

• No decision on the IEEE/IEE chairman of DCE cahper till college reopens. None of the candidates ready to go for V.C. .

• Very poor performance by DCEites in MBA entrance examinations, this year. IIFT sees lots of DCEites this year.

• Maths Deaprtment gets new high end computers. 3 Pentium Pro's also has been added in the computer center!

• DCE library get connected by Delhi Library Network and now plans to make the transactions complety by Computer.

• Engifest'97, One of the most successfull festivals in DCE history. Supreet leavs to IIM-Kalikut.
